A lot of players have moved on, but some still hang on to their hometowns.

Here are the latest players to sign contracts and the latest news on their departure.

Here are some of the big names to have signed contracts and their locations:The Kings signed Andrew McLeod to a one-year, $2.4 million contract extension.

He will join the Kings on a one and a half-year deal.

Sydney FC signed Adam Merrick to a three-year (A$7 million) contract extension on Tuesday.

The 20-year old midfielder, who had been a key player for the Roos in 2016, has been with Sydney since he was 16 and is expected to join the club on a long-term contract in the coming months.

Syracuse City signed Patrick Marler to a contract extension with an option for a fifth season on Tuesday night.

The 23-year age-19 midfielder, a 2015 NSW Youth Cup winner, was a key member of the Roo’s U20 side and had a successful stint in the U19s, making five appearances for Sydney FC during the 2016-17 season.AUSTRALIAMelbourne City has signed 19-year -old defender Andrew McGlinchey.

The midfielder has signed a three year deal with Melbourne City.

The 19-yr-old has made 17 appearances for Melbourne City since signing from Sydney FC on January 30.

Fremantle FC signed defender Sam Gallagher to a five-year agreement on Tuesday afternoon.

The 21-year of age defender is expected be joining the Mariners in the summer.

He was one the Roosters best players in 2017-18, playing an important role in the club’s win over the Sydney Swans at the SCG.FREMANTLE will sign defender Sam Bennett to a seven-year long contract on Wednesday.

The 22-year –old is a former Rooster and the club captain has made 23 appearances for Fremantle since arriving from Melbourne in the 2015 Super League season.BARRIEVILLE will sign midfielder Sam Carter on a two year contract extension for 2018-2019.

The 27-year older player is one of Fremantle’s most exciting prospects.

He is a key contributor to the Roorettes under-20 side this season, having started all five matches and had nine shots on goal.

He joined Fremantle from the Gold Coast Titans in the 2017 Super League, making 33 appearances in 2017.

He also made five appearances last season, including two in the finals against Melbourne Victory.WESTERN AUSTRALIANSTKONINGS signed Josh Walker to a six-year loan deal.

The 25-year‑old has played for the Blues for three seasons and is set to join Melbourne Victory on a six year deal for the 2019-20 season.

Walker was a regular for the Socceroos under-19s and made five senior appearances in the World Cup this year.

He made his debut for the U-20s in the 2019 World Cup and scored his first goal for the national team in the Confederations Cup against Uruguay.

The Socceroos have signed forward Sam Carter to a multi-year Deal.

The Australian international has been a regular contributor for the Aussies under-21 side this term.
