‘A’list’ singer will perform on ‘This Week in Music’ on Monday night

Aussie music star, actor, musician and comedian John Hodgman has been announced as a guest presenter on the new edition of This Week in Entertainment, the broadcaster announced on Friday.

The announcement comes on the same day that the US singer and songwriter will also perform on the program.

“John Hodgman’s ‘This week in music’ is a must listen for the masses,” said The Sunday Times.

“This week is going to be packed with great new music, and the only way to avoid the music being too repetitive is to listen to it.

Hodgman will be joined on the show by his former partner Sarah Harding, who also sang in The Beatles classic “We’ll Be Back”.

In the past, the duo have shared the stage with singer-songwriter Miley Cyrus and singer-actress Jessica Simpson.

Hodgman said on his Facebook page: “I have been waiting for this moment for years, so I’m really excited to be a part of this great programme and be part of the A-list of great talent and singers.”

“The show will be a showcase for a huge number of the most talented Australians, and I am honoured to be part to bring the spotlight on all Australians.”

The presenter will be accompanied by a host of other Australians and world leaders.

The Australian and New Zealand Prime Ministers, US President Donald Trump, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and French President Emmanuel Macron will also be featured in the show.

“It’s great to be joined by the likes of US President Trump, US Vice President Mike Pence, US First Lady Melania Trump and German Chancellor Merkel to kick off the show,” Hodgman told the Sunday Times of the show’s theme, “The American Century”.
